“‘They Were Calling Targets!’ — Eyewitness Drops Chilling Details of Jos Attack, Says ‘This Was Not Ordinary Violence’”

Fear and tension have gripped many Nigerians following disturbing revelations about the recent deadly attack in Jos, Plateau State.

A former member of the House of Representatives, Dachung Bagos, has come forward with shocking eyewitness details that paint a terrifying picture of what really happened during the assault. According to him, this was no random act of violence—it was something far more coordinated and dangerous.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Bagos described how the attackers stormed the area with speed and precision, riding on motorcycles like a well-trained unit.

He compared the scene to a military-style operation, saying the attackers moved like professionals, shooting as they advanced without hesitation.

“They came on bikes, moving fast, shooting as they moved… like what you see in commando films,” he explained.

Even more chilling was his account of how the attackers communicated during the operation. According to him, they were speaking Fulfulde and Hausa while giving directions to one another, guiding movements and coordinating their actions.

“They were shooting and speaking Fulfulde and Hausa, directing that we should follow here, we should follow,” he said.

Bagos also claimed that the attackers appeared to know exactly who they were targeting, suggesting that the operation may have been carefully planned ahead of time.

“They were shooting on target as if they already knew who they wanted to shoot,” he added.

Describing them as trained militias, he insisted that the level of coordination seen in the attack shows it was not spontaneous.

“These were trained people. They came on an assignment. They mapped out how they came in and how they left,” he said.

He further warned that the situation could have escalated into a full-blown crisis if not for the restraint shown by local youths and community leaders.

“If not because of how calm the youth have been, Plateau could have been having that clash narrative,” he noted.

Bagos strongly rejected any suggestion that the attack was a communal clash, insisting instead that it was a targeted and deliberate assault.

For many Nigerians, these revelations are deeply troubling and raise urgent concerns about security and intelligence in the country.
