I know What Led To Biafra War,I Was 17yr During The War,I’m Afraid Same Thing Is Playing Back—Oputa
A wave of concern has swept across Nigeria after veteran entertainer and activist Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, made a chilling statement about the country’s future warning that the signs leading to the Nigerian Civil War may be showing up again. Alot of people won’t agree with this, Watch Video Now.
Speaking during a recent interview, the outspoken figure said he is deeply worried about what lies ahead for young Nigerians. According to him, the current situation in the country feels like a “déjà vu” — a painful reminder of the events that once plunged the nation into war.
Charly Boy revealed that he was just a teenager, about 16 or 17 years old, when the civil war broke out. That experience, he said, still lives with him — and what he is seeing today is bringing back those same fears.
His words have sparked serious conversations online, with many Nigerians reflecting on rising hardship, division, and uncertainty in the country. While some believe his concerns are valid, others think the situation is not that extreme — at least not yet.
But one thing is clear: his message has touched a nerve.
As economic pressure increases and frustrations grow among citizens, many are beginning to ask difficult questions about unity, leadership, and the direction Nigeria is heading.
Is this just fear… or a warning we should all take seriously?
