A house help poisoned our pot of food 8 days after resuming work – Nigerian woman narrates (VIDEO)
Fear and shock have gripped many Nigerians online after a woman, Amy George, shared a terrifying experience involving her family’s house help. Alot of people won’t agree with this, Watch Video Now.
According to her story, what started as a simple act of hiring help quickly turned into a near tragedy that could have wiped out her entire household.
Amy revealed that the young girl had barely spent eight days in their home before secretly adding a suspicious substance into a pot of food already cooking in the kitchen. Unknown to the girl, security cameras were watching. Her husband spotted the strange act and immediately alerted her.
Trying not to raise suspicion, Amy calmly walked into the kitchen and removed the pot. Then came the moment of truth — she asked the house help to eat the same food. That was when everything changed.
When questioned, the girl denied it was poison. Instead, she claimed it was something called “talk and do,” allegedly given to her by her uncle — a substance meant to control the family and make them obey her commands.
The revelation left the family shaken to their core. According to Amy, it took time and support from loved ones before they could recover from the trauma, especially considering the safety of their child.
This incident has once again raised serious concerns about trust, background checks, and safety when hiring domestic workers in Nigeria.
