According to a Fox News report on May 19, 2026, host Jesse Watters said the United States has issued Iran a final ultimatum over its nuclear program, warning of possible military action if Tehran refuses to surrender its enriched uranium stockpiles.
Watters claimed President Donald Trump has directed the Pentagon to prepare for a “full large-scale assault” on Iran if negotiations fail.
He added that sanctions relief remains frozen under a U.S. naval blockade, while regional allies including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates reportedly secured a short diplomatic pause to prevent immediate conflict.
Watters also hinted at an alternative military strategy called “the circle of death” aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
