“I Lost 6 Brothers… We Buried Over 100 Bodies!” — Borno Airstrike Sparks Tears, Anger As FG Insists ‘No Innocent Lives There’

Grief and controversy have taken over parts of northern Nigeria

After a deadly airstrike along the Borno–Yobe border left families counting heavy losses.

A resident, Mallam Abatcha Gubio, broke down as he revealed that six of his brothers were among those killed in the attack on Jilli community. He also claimed that more than 100 bodies have already been buried after the tragic incident.
See the heartbreaking details shared above before they disappear. This is the story everyone is quietly reacting to right now.

The location, widely known as a “terrorists’ market,” had been shut down by the Borno State Government years ago due to security concerns. Yet, traders continued to gather there every Saturday, driven by lack of alternative markets and the area’s importance to surrounding communities.

But Nigeria’s Defence Chief, Christopher Musa, has strongly defended the military operation. According to him, those present at the market were not innocent civilians but individuals knowingly engaging with террорист groups.

Security sources say the strike targeted a known hub used by Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters for collecting levies and planning attacks.

Former Army Chief, Tukur Buratai, also backed the operation, describing it as necessary despite reports of civilian casualties.

This shocking development has once again raised painful questions about security, survival, and the deadly cost of living in conflict zones.
