“THEY WENT THERE TO MAKE MONEY!” – Defence Minister Speaks on Jilli Strike, Dismisses Civilian Claims

A fresh wave of controversy has hit Nigeria after Defence Minister Christopher Musa broke his silence on the deadly airstrike in Jilli, Borno State.

In a bold and emotional defence, Musa insisted that those killed were not innocent villagers as some reports claimed.

Instead, he said they were people deeply involved in supporting terrorists.

According to him, the location was not an ordinary settlement but a secret hub where insurgents and their collaborators met to trade fuel, food, and other supplies.

This statement has sparked serious debate across Nigeria. The details above are what many people are trying to understand right now.
What really happened in Jilli is already drawing massive attention online.

Musa made it clear that the military did not act blindly.

He revealed that the area had been under surveillance for a long time and was carefully identified before the strike was carried out.

In his words, people went there knowingly to make money, fully aware of the danger and who they were dealing with.

He added that once someone supports terrorists, they can no longer be seen as innocent civilians.

While admitting that some people are forced into such situations, he stressed that those who go willingly must face the risks.

Now, Nigerians are divided again… was it a justified strike or a tragic mistake?
