“He Told Me To Run Before He Died” — Woman Breaks Silence After Deadly Night That Changed Her Life Forever
A heartbreaking story from Kiambu County is shaking many people online as a woman identified as Grace opens up about the tragic moment she lost her husband during a violent fight.
Grace’s life has not been easy. She lost her father at a young age, and her mother struggled to raise five children alone.
Even though she passed her primary exams well, poverty stopped her from going to secondary school.
At just 13, Grace got pregnant and moved in with the man who later became her husband. But things quickly turned bad. She said he started behaving strangely, forcing her to leave and live alone in rented rooms.
Trouble came one night when he arrived drunk and threatened that one of them would die. During a violent struggle in the kitchen, he stabbed her first. In pain and fear, she fought back and stabbed his leg.
As he bled, he reportedly begged her to run, saying he might not survive. She rushed him to the hospital, but before dying, he told doctors they were attacked by unknown people just to protect her.
Overcome with guilt, Grace later confessed. She was arrested and sentenced for manslaughter.
Today, her story has taken a different turn. While in prison, she returned to school, passed her exams, and even gained admission into the university with support from kind Nigerians.
Many are now asking. Is this justice or tragedy?
