‘Heartless Cowards!’ — Tinubu’s Explosive Words Spark Reactions After Bloody Plateau & Kaduna Attacks
Nigeria has once again been thrown into mourning, fear, and anger following fresh deadly attacks in Plateau and Kaduna States — and now, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally spoken out.
In a strong and emotional statement released on Tuesday, the President did not hold back. He described the attackers as “heartless cowards” who strike innocent people in the dead of night.
The shocking incidents happened in Angwan Rukuba area of Jos, Plateau State, and Kahir village in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Reports say several lives were lost, while others were kidnapped — including wedding guests who had gathered for a joyful celebration that suddenly turned into tragedy.
According to presidential aide Bayo Onanuga, the President condemned the killings completely, calling them a direct attack on Nigeria’s unity and peace.
Tinubu warned that these attackers are not just killing — they are trying to create chaos and spark more violence across communities.
He has now ordered security agencies to move fast and go after the criminals responsible. He also gave a strict directive that all kidnapped victims in Kaduna must be rescued without delay.
The President didn’t stop there.
He urged security forces to wake up and act faster using intelligence before attacks even happen. At the same time, he cautioned the media and Nigerians against spreading dangerous narratives that could make the situation worse.
In his message, Tinubu also praised Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for their quick response in handling the crisis so far.
To tackle the growing insecurity, the Federal Government revealed plans to introduce more advanced equipment that will help track and stop criminals in real time.
This development quickly went viral after being shared by NaijaNews on X (formerly Twitter), sparking heated debates among Nigerians who are demanding real action — not just words.
As families bury their loved ones and survivors struggle with trauma, one big question remains: Will this time be different?
