“Act Now Or Step Aside!” — Senator Natasha Blasts Defence Chief As Jos Bleeds, Nigerians Demand Urgent Action

Nigeria is once again gripped by fear and anger as fresh voices rise over the deadly violence in Jos, Plateau State.

In a bold and emotional reaction, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has openly challenged the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, to take immediate action — or step aside.

The strong statement comes after the heartbreaking attack in Angwan Rukuba, where innocent lives were lost, leaving families in pain and communities in fear.

Taking to her verified Instagram page, the Kogi Central lawmaker shared a powerful message that quickly caught attention: “Jos Is Bleeding.”

Those three words alone have now become a symbol of frustration for many Nigerians who feel abandoned and unprotected.

In her message directed at the defence chief, Senator Natasha did not mince words. She reminded General Musa of the promises he made during his Senate screening — promises that gave hope to millions of Nigerians struggling with insecurity.

But today, according to her, that hope is fading.

She expressed deep disappointment, saying the current situation shows that many citizens still do not feel safe in their own country.

For her, it is no longer about speeches or reassurances.

It is about action.

She made it clear that Nigerians are demanding visible results — protection of lives, stronger security response, and real change on the ground.

And if that cannot be achieved, she suggested that leadership must take responsibility, even if it means stepping aside.

This strong message is already sparking reactions across the country, with many Nigerians agreeing that the time for talking is over.

As the situation in Plateau continues to raise concerns, one big question remains: Will this call lead to real action, or will it be another voice ignored?
