“They Are Planning Attack You” — Primate Ayodele Issues Fresh Security Warning, Lists 8 Nigerian States at Risk
Popular Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has raised fresh concerns over what he described as possible coordinated security threats across several parts of the country.

In a recent video shared on Facebook, the cleric warned that certain groups may be planning attacks in multiple states and called on security agencies not to take the situation lightly.
According to him, any soft approach toward criminal elements could worsen insecurity in the affected regions, insisting that stronger action is needed to prevent escalation.
Primate Ayodele listed several states he believes should be on high alert, including Kaduna, Nasarawa, Zamfara, Niger, Jigawa, Plateau (Jos), Benue, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
He further claimed that military personnel could be among the targets, warning that convoys and security movements may be at risk if precautions are not strengthened.
In his words, he urged authorities to take immediate action: “They must do anything, everything to stop it in these following states.”
The cleric also warned that religious gatherings could be vulnerable, advising worshippers to remain cautious and vigilant during services and public events.
Beyond physical security responses, Ayodele stressed that Nigeria may also require spiritual intervention alongside technological and intelligence-driven solutions, suggesting that addressing the root causes of violence is equally important.
Security concerns have remained a major issue in several parts of the country, with repeated warnings from different sources calling attention to possible threats and the need for stronger preventive measures.
As of the time of this report, security agencies have not issued an official response to the cleric’s latest warning.
