Nigeria is once again in the global spotlight—but for a reason no one wants. The latest 2026 Global Terrorism Index has revealed a chilling reality: Watch Video Now.

two separate attacks in Nigeria have been ranked among the deadliest in the world, exposing a security crisis that continues to spiral out of control.

The first attack, which happened on September 5, 2025, in Darajamal village, Borno State, claimed the lives of 58 innocent villagers and five soldiers. Witnesses say gunmen, believed to be from ISWAP, stormed the community with brutal precision. The Nigerian Army fought back, neutralizing 30 attackers, but the scale of the tragedy shocked the nation and drew global attention.

Just months earlier, on May 15, 2025, Boko Haram militants struck Mallam Karamti and Kwatandashi villages in Kukawa. Around 100 civilians were reportedly captured. By the time rescue teams arrived, 57 bodies had been recovered, and 70 people are still missing.

Regionally, the Lake Chad area continues to face a nightmare, while Nigeria has recorded the largest rise in terrorism deaths worldwide, with total fatalities climbing by 237 in just one year. Experts warn that without urgent action, more communities could face the same fate.
