Sowore Claims He Can Spot Fake Leaders — Names IBB, OBJ, GEJ, and Peter Obi!
Veteran activist Omoyele Sowore has set social media ablaze with a fiery declaration that he has always had a “radar detector for fake people” and no political figure, past or present, has escaped his scrutiny. Watch This Now.
In a video shared by TV Platinum, Sowore criticized Peter Obi, saying that while Obi presents himself as different, his actions tell another story. According to Sowore, Obi has historically aligned with politicians he considers harmful to Nigeria, including Babachir Lawal, Rotimi Amaechi, and Abubakar Malami.
Sowore went further, suggesting that if former President Buhari were still alive, Obi might now be in the same party hinting that reconciliation with Bola Tinubu and the ruling APC could happen. He claimed joining the APC comes with perks, including forgiveness for past mistakes and financial benefits for governors and senators.
But Sowore emphasized that he personally is never fooled. “As far back as 1989, when I was 18 years old, I have had a radar detector for fake people,” he said. He named Ibrahim Babangida (IBB), Olusegun Obasanjo (OBJ), Goodluck Jonathan (GEJ), and Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as leaders he recognized as “fake” long before most Nigerians realized their true nature.
The activist’s blunt statements are sparking heated debates online, with many questioning whether political leaders can truly be trusted or if Sowore’s “radar” has a point.
What do you think? Can anyone really spot fake leaders, or is this just political theater? Drop your opinion in the comments and share this with someone following Nigerian politics!
