If they play that game, we are going to hit them at a level that they have not seen before – Trump
WASHINGTON — United States President Donald Trump has warned that the U.S. could launch even more devastating strikes against Iran if the country attempts to disrupt global oil routes or escalate tensions in the Middle East. Watch The Video.
Speaking during an interview at the White House, Trump said the United States and its allies have already conducted large-scale military operations targeting Iranian missile systems, drone facilities, and naval assets.
The president said the campaign, carried out alongside the Israel Defense Forces, has significantly weakened Iran’s military infrastructure, destroying many missile launchers, drone production sites, and sinking several naval vessels.
Trump emphasized the importance of protecting global energy supply routes, particularly the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a key channel for international oil exports. He stated that U.S. and allied forces are closely monitoring the region to ensure the safety of commercial shipping.
“If they play that game, we’re going to hit them at a level that they have not seen before,” Trump warned, referring to potential Iranian attempts to block shipping lanes or attack oil tankers in the Gulf.
He added that the military campaign aims to prevent Iran from threatening its neighbors and disrupting the global economy. The operation, he said, has already reduced Iran’s ability to launch drones and ballistic missiles by targeting several key military facilities.
Trump also revealed that he recently held discussions with Vladimir Putin regarding the Middle East situation and other global security concerns, including the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Despite his strong rhetoric, the president expressed hope that the conflict could end if Iran abandons its military ambitions and agrees to peaceful negotiations. He reiterated that the United States remains committed to protecting its allies, maintaining regional stability, and preventing the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
