Tinubu emphasized that Ramadan is more than fasting—it is a time for reflection, ethical growth, and strengthening communal harmony. He called on Nigerians to forgive one another and foster reconciliation in homes, workplaces, and communities.
The President highlighted that practicing compassion and charity during Ramadan can heal divisions and contribute to national progress. He stressed that kindness, generosity, and integrity should guide daily life, particularly in interactions with the less privileged.
He further encouraged citizens to go beyond rituals, actively promoting unity, resolving conflicts peacefully, and upholding justice. Tinubu concluded with a heartfelt appeal, saying, “If I have sinned against you, forgive me. As Nigerians, we must learn to forgive and live in peace with one another.”
