According To NewsVista Reporter, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, former Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu, spoke on Tuesday during a Channels Television programme.
Baba Ahmed said El Rufai is a very difficult person to advise and urged him to focus on clearing corruption allegations instead of fighting on multiple fronts. He stressed that claims of stolen public funds should not be brushed aside as political drama.
The comments come amid a growing dispute between Nasir El-Rufai and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu. El Rufai recently accused Ribadu of ordering his abduction and influencing investigations against him, allegations Ribadu has denied.
Baba Ahmed said the matter involves serious legal issues that must be resolved by the courts, adding that it is sad to see former allies now threatening legal action against each other.
