According To NewsVista Reporter, leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Interim National Committee led by Senator Nenadi Usman visited the party headquarters on Thursday February 12 2026 to inspect the destruction caused by suspected intruders.
A security guard Aminu Salisu shared a frightening account of the night attack. He said the group arrived around 8 30 pm and forcefully demanded entry. When he refused without approval he was allegedly threatened at gunpoint.
Salisu recalled being told that he would be shot if he did not open the gate immediately. Fearing for his life he complied. The attackers then entered the building moved through offices and reportedly took away important documents. He added that he and another guard were beaten during the incident.
The Labour Party leadership described the attack as disturbing and promised stronger security while investigations continue.
