Popular businessman and socialite Obi Iyiegbu, known as Obi Cubana, has been named the South-East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement. The appointment letter was personally handed to him by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, during a visit to Obi Cubana’s home.
Obi Cubana shared the news on Instagram, saying the meeting gave them time to discuss important national issues and how the City Boy Movement can help engage youth and support Nigeria’s progress.
Responding to mixed reactions online, Obi Cubana stood firm, saying real change happens through active involvement and working together, not by staying on the sidelines.
“I’m fully aware of the varied reactions it has sparked. My belief remains firm: lasting change comes from constructive engagement, not standing apart,” he said.
