Controversial relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has once again stirred emotional reactions online after revealing disturbing details about her failed marriage.

In a recent interview on With Chude, she opened up about the domestic violence she says pushed her to walk away from the union..

According to her, the situation was already violent even before the wedding ceremony took place. She claimed her ex-husband physically assaulted her just a day before their wedding, and shockingly, the violence continued on the wedding day itself.

Blessing CEO explained that the incident happened during wedding preparations, saying she was beaten because of something as simple as not packing plates. She described how the situation escalated in front of her close friends, including her chief bridesmaid, who she says witnessed the incident firsthand.

She further stated that despite the abuse, she still proceeded with the wedding, a decision she now looks back on with pain and regret. According to her, the violence was not hidden or private, but happened openly in front of people close to her.

Her revelation has since triggered massive reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing shock, sympathy, and concern over how abuse can sometimes be ignored or endured even in marriage settings.

The story has also reignited conversations about domestic violence, emotional trauma, and the importance of speaking out before situations escalate beyond control.

What do you think about this revelation? Should victims of abuse walk away immediately, even if it happens during wedding preparations? Drop your opinion in the comment section. Share this with someone who needs to see this.
